Privacy Policy
Ball Battle (“the game”, “we”) is made by Andrei Zaharia. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. We don’t run our own servers, don’t create accounts and don’t sell your data.
What the game stores
- Your progress: balls, levels, cards, coins, chests, trophies, Crusade stars, daily rewards, claimed Trophy Road rewards and used voucher codes. It’s saved on your device and in your own iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage), so it follows you to your other devices. It stays in your iCloud account; we can’t see it.
- Your settings (sound, music, volume, vibration) are saved on your device only.
- Your player name, if you choose one, is shown to opponents in online matches.
Game Center (optional)
If you sign in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center name and player ID with the game so you can play online, invite friends and appear on the trophy leaderboard. Online matches send only game information to your opponent (your name, your team and its levels, your trophies, your picks and launch directions). Without Game Center you can still play everything except online and ranked matches.
Voucher codes
When you redeem a voucher code, the game checks it in Apple’s CloudKit. For codes with a limited number of uses, it also saves a small record there containing the code and an anonymous identifier Apple creates for your iCloud account in this game (not your name, email or Apple ID), so each account can use a code only once. This needs you to be signed in to iCloud.
Ads
The game offers optional rewarded video ads from Google AdMob: you choose to watch one in exchange for a reward. Google may collect device information such as an advertising identifier, IP address, device and app details, and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud.
- On iPhone and iPad, the game asks for your permission before ads can use your advertising identifier for tracking (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, you still get the same rewards; ads are just less personalised.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, EEA and UK), the game asks for your consent before ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.
See Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses data from partner apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details; the game only learns which item you bought, so it can deliver it.
What we don’t do
- We don’t collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos or health data.
- We don’t sell or rent your information.
- We don’t use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
Children
The game isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we’ll help remove it.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Settings → Reset Progress erases your progress on your devices and in iCloud.
- Deleting the game and its iCloud data (iPhone Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage) removes everything stored in your iCloud account.
- You can sign out of Game Center, turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or change ad consent in the game’s Settings at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the new version at this address.
